Guerrilla Queer Bars
If 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' has any basis in fact, gay men are generally
considered to be at the cutting edge -- of fashion, style, trends, and partying. That's certainly
the case with Guerrilla parties. San Francisco Guerrilla Queer Bar started the institution in May
of 2000. Now major cities all over the US and the world have followed suit, with
bands of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered folks (and their friends) taking over
'Straight' bars every month or so. They've definitely been in inspiration to us, and can't
wait to see more guerrilla parties erupt across the world.
