Thanks to our friend Cleo Zombie, we've got a fun guerrilla costume event for Halloween. This isn't a GMP organized event, but we support it wholeheartedly...
Walk with your un-dead brethren through the streets of Seattle in the light of day. With all your gore and glory, let’s mob the city! All that's required is to show up in costume, respect traffic laws and practice common sense. Bring your friends…….Nothing says you love someone quite like caking yourself in make-up, limping down the street together and eating them in the park!
The Halloween Zombie Walk gets started at 3:45pm sharp on Monday, October 31st. Meet by the cone-shaped sculpture in Cal Anderson Park (on Capitol Hill).
At 4pm, Cleo Zombie will point us in the right direction and unleash the horror of the zombies on Seattle. We'll shuffle and moan our way towards downtown, finishing at the Pike Place Market around 7pm.
Potentially useful things to keep in mind:
- Participate at your own risk.
- Do not pretend to “attack” people not part of Zombie Walk who do not obviously want to be involved.
- Only swarm parked cars because, if we cause traffic problems, the Police will interfere.
- There are no permits for this event. Be safe and look out for the safety of others!
