Costumes have played an important role in human society for centuries, so it seems only appropriate that we should pay homage to our past. On Saturday, August 6th at 10pm, join us as we dress up, go out, and take over for

'GMP, PERIOD -- A Costume Time Warp'.

From Cavemen to White-Belted Hipsters, every period and culture in human history has included distinctive dress. The Victorians has their ruffles, as did the New Romantics of the 80's. The Ancient Greeks had their flowing togas, whereas the Mods had their tight fitting trousers. Everyone, in every era, put energy into dressing to impress -- and now it's our turn.

For one night, we Guerrillas will bend the 4th dimension, bringing Shakesperean actors together with Medieval wenches. We invite every closet Cleopatra and secret Salome, every underground Ulysses and hidden Hamlet to help us invade an unsuspecting locale here in Seattle.

We'll kick the evening off at 10pm by invading the Pike Pub & Brewery, just South of the Pike Place Market at 1415 1st Ave. When they close up shop at Midnite, we'll head up the street a few blocks to 1920 2nd Ave and take over the Nite Lite -- where we can party 'til 2am.

So cinch up those corsets, pull on those platform shoes, oil up the chain-mail, and join the anachronistic partying!
